New Luck Opals

New Luck Opal's adventure began in early 2021, when we spent six months in our tent and an old miner's hut at Opalton, south of Winton in outback Queensland.

 

In that old miner's hut we created our first brand, Get Stoned by Queensland Boulder Opal.  Through trial and error, making local and international friends and clients and soaking up as much information and knowledge along the way, our passion for our own small business was born.

We purchased our first lease, New Luck, two hours south of our home town, Winton, and commenced boulder opal mining operations in 2022.

We have a range of projects in the works including World Fashion Week 2025 events, developing our R4R range and continuing to mine, cut, design and sell, we are excited to introduce New Luck Opals and invite you to follow us on our journey.
